Rahley is doing well, we are pleased. My housesitter, said he is acting like a puppy again. She cared for him before his surgery and said this is a big improvement.
Part of his treatment, was the specimen was sent to a Colorado research hospital. They were able to create a vaccine, and send it back to his specialist. They administered 3 injections, a week apart. This was to help build up his resistance to the tumor coming back, which has a 20 % chance. Rahley is 9, so I think he may be here for a few more years. I feed him really clean foods, veggies, poached chicken etc.

Sorry, don’t know how to use this blog correctly. October 3, 2024 – Rahley still doing well, has issues that we take care of when they come up. He has developed Horner’s Syndrome, not too much we can do about it. It is not causing any issues at this time. His mood is good, no problems eating. I get on floor with him and play. He laughs when I do!! Just keeping him happy and healthy as possible. We are blessed to have him still with us.

Not sure how to use this blog correctly. It has been getting close to a year and half for Rahley.
He was doing really well, but suddenly in the last week, has developed back end weakness. I have his specialist looking into this. Now he can’t get up by himself. I use straps and a help u help harness to get him out to potty. I feel his quality of life is suffering. Unless some change presents itself very soon, I am going to have to give him relief. Rahley has been a sweetie all of his life.
